My name is Sarabi but I prefer to go by Sari as I'm told it means 'Princess' in some languages and I am ready to enter my Princess era! 👑

Nature
I had a tough start in life, growing up in a dangerous industrial yard with my family. When my sister and I were heavily pregnant, we were trapped and brought to safety by a kind human. Between us we birthed 8 kittens in foster care and we raised them together sharing feeding/cleaning/minding duties. Sadly, a few months ago my sister got sick and couldn't be saved. The kittens have all found their forever homes and I am waiting to find mine in foster care.

I am timid and like my own space but I do like some gentle pats on my own terms, I'll use a little chirp to tell you when. My nature is very curious, timid but sweet and playful. Since my kittens left I have discovered my playful side! My favourite toys are wand toys and I love to chase, jump and show off my skills. I also love to watch outside, spying on people, bugs and birds from my window bed. I am very petite and dainty, it’s hard to show that in photos.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I really like other cats, watching them trust humans helps me to learn that. I am very confident around cats and would probably do best with at least one other cat to bond with. I love to rub cheeks with or snuggle the other female cats in my house.

I have not been around small children or dogs. With gentle introduction I could perhaps get used to calm ones?

Likes / Dislikes
I love food, love love love it! Wet food, dry food, treats, cooked chicken or fish are all so yummy! I used to be super skinny (even while pregnant) and had to struggle to find scraps to eat. To have plentiful, delicious food every day is a dream come true!

Wand toys are my obsession, particularly feathers. I love cat towers near windows or beds attached to windows with a view. If there is a cardboard box around I simply must sit in it. I have recently realised that cat tunnels are lots of fun!

Being picked up makes me feel pretty panicked, please don't unless it's absolutely necessary. Same goes for being patted when I am not in the mood. Loud noises or shouting can send me scampering to hide for a bit. I like a cave bed or safe spot I can hide in until I feel calm again.

My PURR-fect home would be with kind and gentle people who want to give me the safe, nurturing environment I did not have at the start of my life. I’d like someone to respect my boundaries and is willing to work to gain my trust. Please give me plenty of toys as my kitten side is now re-emerging after I was forced to grow up far too quickly. You will see how happy food makes me and enjoy my sweet little chirps.
