About Moe *On Trial*
*moe is currently trialling his new home* handsome young pup moe has been reluctantly surrendered to sarg as his owner is seriously ill and believes she can no longer care for him like she used too especially now that her treatment means having to be away from home for extended periods of time. . . . . Moe is a happy, outgoing, playful dog who is full of energy and at only 3. 6kgs he’s a terrific ‘take anywhere’ size! he has settled in well into foster care where he’s no longer an only dog and is enjoying the company of a 10 year old female maltese x who loves to play as well. They share their toys, shaking them and tossing them in the air for the other to catch or latch onto for some tug-o-war, then they play chasey’s and when they’re exhausted they curl up together for a well deserved snooze!
moe is definitely a little lap dog who loves cuddles and belly rubs or watching tv with you at night but he can be a blokey dog too and likes to hang out with the man of the house supervising the yard work and hoping the hose will come out as moe adores playing in water helping make bath time easy!!!! he’s an alert little dog which makes for a terrific watchdog though in saying that moe’s not a yapper and will only bark for a reason such as someone coming to the front door. He does get super-excited meeting new people and tends to jump up on you a bit though his carer is working on “down” which he’s getting the hang of and he does settle fairly quickly. Moe is also learning to “sit” for treats and enjoys going for daily walks again as it had been awhile since he’d been out and about on a lead. He is also using the doggie door, sleeping in the laundry at night and has only had one “accident” inside since arriving in care – what a clever little boy moe is!!!
handsome little moe is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up his energy. Moe hardly sheds any hair though he’ll require a good brush once a week and a clip a few times a year to keep his coat in tip-top condition. Secure fencing, bones to chew on, toys to play with and lots of attention will make cheeky moe very happy indeed!
as he’s already housetrained we would want to see moe’s indoor / outdoor lifestyle continue with either a doggie companion to play with and learn from or on his own but only if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while he settles into his new home. If you think marvellous moe sounds like the perfect companion for you then please download and complete a sarg dog application form by following this link: http://www. Sarg. Net. Au/adoptapet. Html
