Meet Garfunkel!
He’s a very affectionate boy who has beautiful golden eyes, a gentle nature and a very cute squeaky miaow.
He loves early morning zoomies with his foster friend Simon, in particular through the cat tunnel, the laser toy, the stick cat toy and human toes (obsessed with toes, very gently plays!).
When he’s not playing he’s asleep in his favourite cardboard box, the office chair or at the foot of our bed.
Loves meal times and will often be found languishing by his cat bowl, dramatically faint with hunger
He loves to be close by - preferably under our feet, however, has been left for a few hours at a time alone at home without any issues.

Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee, minus $50 (admin fee), will be returned via bank transfer. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip). If prior arrangement is made, an Adoption Contract must be signed in full and payment must before collection of the pet.
4. The 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork, including the Microchip Change of Ownership form, is then sent via email.
Our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, we endeavour to respond to your email within 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
