About Lucy
Lucy is here with her brother Banjo and these two are quite bonded. They have spent a few months on foster and have come a long way from the scared little kittens that arrived into care. They will need a home with no kids but do love cats of all shapes and sizes.
Their foster Mum says:
Lucy is a sweetheart once you get past her scaredy cat antics. She is still quite shy and will need some safe places to hide when you bring her home, however she goes nuts when it's patting time. She will roll on the floor desperately trying to get you to rub and pat everywhere while she drags herself across the floor in pure happiness. She also likes a gentle belly rub if it's mixed in with lots of head pats.
She will need someone who is patient and willing to spend time building her trust. She enjoys Dine creamy treats and Temptations and these can be used to good effect. Initially, when she's in a safe place (eg cat carrier) she may seem standoffish, however if you gently approach her and start patting her all her barriers fall and she starts purring and enjoying the pats.
She needs to be in a quiet home and would be happy to have another cat friend. She most likely wouldn't get on with a dog unless it completely ignored her.
