About Geoffrey
⭐️⭐️Geoffrey!⭐️⭐️
5 year old Great Dane mix, male.
Desexed, chipped and vaccinated.
Located Ipswich region.
Adoption fee $195
Geoffrey - a big, lovable guy who likes to be with you all the time.
Geoffrey does get a little anxious when storms are about, preferring to be inside with his humans.
He likes to be with you 24/7 and would best suit someone who is home alot.
He's not food aggressive and allows his bowl to be removed while eating.
Geoffrey will sometimes bark whenever he hears other dogs although this has calmed more as he settles more into his foster home. The neighbours have NOT complained of barking through the day either when his carer is not home.
Geoffrey can be reactive to some dogs, especially smaller ones, and was once reactive to a staffy while walking. Other dogs he is fine with, so if there are any dogs in the adoptive household, we definitely need to do a meet and greet first.
Geoffrey loves his walks but pulls on the leash, improving as the walk progresses. He knows basic commands like sit, lay down, and shake.
Geoffrey is allergic to chicken (gets itchy skin) so will need biscuits that do not have chicken - or perhaps a home-made or raw diet. At the moment he is on a hypoallergenic biscuit from Meals for Mutts. Not too expensive.
He does not seem to like being outside or alone, but is settling more with routine and time.
Geoffrey is toilet-trained, loves leaning on you, and enjoys pats and belly rubs. While inside, he follows you around but will rest quietly at your feet when you sit.
If you think this boy might fit into your family, please send us a private message.
Medical notes
Allergic to chicken. Gets itchy.
Adoption details
All animals come with a 7 day trial period (this is negotiable depending on case by case differences, and will be discussed accordingly with anyone having queries)
After this time, and knowing that both the family and pet are happy together, the adoption will be finalized.
If an animal is to be returned for whatever reason during this 7 day period, a 10% (of the adoption fee) administration fee will be taken out of the refund. Animals returned after this time, unfortunately forfeit the adoption price.
We are mostly located in Jimboomba on the outskirts of logan, around 30-45 mins south of Brisbane, although some animals can be in care throughout the greater Brisbane region.
