About Kiko
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
Little Kiko is a sweet and gentle soul who adores people and has a lot of love to give. She is one of gentlest and kind natured cats you'll ever meet and does not have a mean bone in her body.
Kiko was well loved by her previous owner but they unfortunately decided to add another couple cats to the household and Kiko did not handle this change to her home at all well. She became very stressed and anxious with the new animals around and sadly this did not improve with time. So her owners made the tough decision to reach out to us to find her a new home. She has come from a loving household and has a lot of love to give.
As she has come from a highly stressful environment and being a sweet and gentle soul, Kiko will most likely be very shy when she first arrives in her new home and make take a bit of time to settle in and really start to relax. When she first arrived in her foster home Kiko was happy to have pats and scratches but the poor thing spent most of her first week hiding behind the washing machine 😔
But now that she has had a chance to settle and began to build her confidence her true personality had shone through and she's become all about the purrs and cuddles.
Kiko loves a pat and a scratch, can be picked up and smooched, loves to sit on the couch with you and just generally loves being around people. She will sleep on your bed with you if you'll let her and just generally loves a cuddle.
She is an independent cat that is happy to do her own thing but also loves human company. Being a bit of a princess affection is very much on her terms but she can be very sweet when she wants to be.
She will be happy to see you when you get home from work and will rub up against your legs to say g'day when you get home. She's not an in your face kind of cat but she genuinely enjoys hanging out with you wherever you are.
We would like to find her a quiet household in a quiet neighborhood where she can really start to unwind, de-stress and live her best life. She would be best suited to a retiree or home body who's looking to add a loving companion to their household and who does not have any other pets. She does get on well with other cats and children but the ideal kingdom for princess Kiko would be one that she could rule on her own.
It will take her a moment to adjust to her new household bit with love, time and patience her beautiful personality will shine though and you'll find yourself with a very special and loving new companion.
Anyone wanting to add an easy going and low maintenance furry bundle of love to their household would be lucky to have her.
Kiko is approximately 7 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little lady with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
