About Steph
Hi there, I'm Steph! I'm an 8-month-old Schnauzer cross, and I'm told I'm quite the beauty! I'm still a little baby at heart, so I need some help learning how to be the best girl I can be, especially when it comes to toilet training-I'm still figuring that part out. But don't worry, I'm eager to learn!
I can be a bit shy when I first meet new people, so a family with kids over 6 years old who understand that I need a bit of time to warm up would be perfect for me. Once I trust you, though, I'll be your little shadow and follow you everywhere! I really want to be inside with my family, especially at night when it's time to snuggle up.
I love other dogs! I get along great with them, so I'd be over the moon if I could go to a home with another dog to play with. But if not, I'd still be super happy if I could meet other dogs during walks or at the park.
If you're looking for a super sweet, lovable little girl who's ready to bond and be your best friend, I think we could be a perfect match! Can't wait to meet you!
To book a meet and greet with Steph please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
