About Mumma Moo Shaka
Meet the dazzling Mumma Moo Shaka, a 2-year-9-month-old brindle Greyhound who's retired from the track but still has all the energy and excitement of a top racer! Mumma Moo is a playful goofball who loves nothing more than darting around with her favorite toys, even though she hasn't quite grasped the concept of fetch-why bring the toy back when you can keep playing with it on your own?
This stunning girl is great with medium to large dogs, making her the perfect running buddy or couch companion for your existing pack. However, Mumma Moo is not suited for homes with small dogs, cats, or other small animals-her racing instincts are still strong when it comes to tiny creatures.
When she's not zooming around or playing, Mumma Moo is a classic Greyhound who adores lounging on the couch, just waiting for her next belly rub. With a daily walk, she'll happily get out of the yard to explore the world, meeting new faces and sniffing out all the exciting smells along the way. While she walks okay on a lead, some extra training will help her master those leash manners.
And guess what? Mumma Moo's equally gorgeous sister is also looking for her forever home! Together, they make a pair of beautiful, dorky Greyhounds just waiting to race their way into your heart.
Ready to meet your new best friend? Adopt Mumma Moo Shaka today and let her bring a touch of racing excitement to your life!

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
