About Rex
Meet Rex, a lovable 6-month-old German Short-Haired Pointer x Harrier with a heart of gold. Though he’s large in size, Rex has a timid and gentle nature, needing a little time to warm up to new people and dogs. He’s lived with another dog and, while shy at first, he shows interest in calmer canine companions but wouldn’t thrive with overly exuberant dogs. Given his undersocialized background, Rex needs a patient and understanding owner to help him explore the world at his own pace.
Rex is an affectionate boy who forms deep bonds with his humans. He can get a bit stressed when left alone, so a home where he can spend plenty of time with his family would be ideal. Due to his active breed mix, he’ll need daily exercise to stay happy and healthy, so someone with a love for the outdoors would be a great match. He’s best suited for a home without cats and with dog-savvy kids who can understand his need for space at times.
If you’re ready to give this sweet, loving boy the guidance and patience he deserves, Rex will be your loyal and affectionate companion in return.
