About Maggie
Meet Maggie, a 3-year, 3-month-old Chihuahua mix with all the classic traits that Chihuahua lovers adore. Maggie is a true pocket pet who wants nothing more than to be by her owner’s side, all day, every day. She’s a bit timid when meeting new people and can be nervous around other dogs, so she’d do best as the only dog in a home where she can soak up all the attention.
Maggie has that signature Chihuahua attitude—she knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to show it, which will be familiar to anyone who knows the breed. She’s not a fan of young kids, so she’s looking for a home with children aged 13 and up, though a one- or two-person household would suit her best.
Once Maggie bonds with you, she’ll become your little shadow. She can be clingy and a bit needy, but that’s all part of her charm. Whether she’s snuggling next to you in bed or curled up in her fluffy dog bed, she’s happiest when she’s close to her person. Plus, Maggie comes with a bit of flair—she’ll arrive with some stylish bling, including her collar and harness, courtesy of her previous owner.

Adoption details
We are not open to walk ins, appointments by booking only. All households members must be present before we can adopt an animal out.
As our goal is to adopt animals out from the shelter into loving homes as fast as possible, multiple bookings may be made for the same animal.
We are not able to hold any animals for any reason.
As such, there is a possibility that the animal you may have found a forever home before your appointment. If this is the case we will inform you by phone call as soon as possible.

For serious enquires we are able to accommodate to outside our normal appointment hours if we have notice. Please call us to arrange a time.
