Crimpa

Introducing Crimpa, a gentle and affectionate retired racing greyhound, is looking for a loving forever home where he can relax and unwind. Due to a back muscle injury, he had to retire from racing, but his friendly nature and calm demeanor make him an ideal companion. He was named Crimpa because she had a broken tail which has fully healed and causes no discomfort. With his long legs and above-average height, Crimpa is well-behaved on a leash and loves spending time with people. He gets along with other dogs after a slow introduction and enjoys short, leisurely strolls.

As a former racing greyhound, Crimpa's compatibility with cats and small pets is uncertain. Ideally, his new home will have shaded areas where he can retreat on warm days as Crimpa deserves a comfortable and serene environment where he can thrive and receive plenty of attention and affection.

SEQ K9 Rescue finds homes for retired Greyhounds, giving them a second chance. To ensure their well-being, we require: no dog parks, muzzled walks, and slow introductions to other dogs while muzzled, treating rehoming as a serious responsibility to help them thrive.
