About Kramer
Kramer is ready to find his new family to call his own, this fella is a character for sure.
He has shown that he can be good with other dogs and while he barks at the cats he hasn’t chased them. Supervision is recommended of course in a new environment.
Kramer can be shy when meeting new people not that there's anything wrong with that but time and patience will be needed to start with.
He is toilet trained and sleeps in a crate at night with no issues. Further training is of course recommended due to his young age, this will help build his confidence too.
While he is a smart boy and learning sit there is so much more he can learn. Leash manners are still a working progress too but with lots of treats, patience and encouragement we know he will get there.

* Please note, this is not a contract or agreement of any kind, only expression of interest in our dog. We will not conduct any meet and greets unless this form has been filled out and submitted for review. Only approved applicants will get to meet our dogs. *
Once approved you will be contacted by a team member and can organise a time best suited to meet with the carer and dog. If you have other dogs they must also be at the meeting, including any children in the immediate family.
Before applying please consider the following:
• real estate approval if renting
• any fencing repairs that may need to be done
• outside shelter
• breed knowledge
• do you have enough time for the breed of dog you are applying for?
If you and the dog get along, you have to option of taking the dog on the spot (at this time you will need to pay the full adoption price and sign the adoption agreement) You will then get a 2-week trial with the dog, during this time should things not work out you are to return the dog to Dusty Paws Dog Rescue. You will then receive a full refund; less $50 admin fee within 7 business days of the return of the dog.

Please also keep in mind that we are a volunteer run rescue which means we don’t have someone manning the phone 24/7, we all work full time jobs and get back to your calls and messages as soon as we can. We thank you for your time and patients with us.
