Missy 😍Blue Cattle x JRT (On Trial 21/10/24)

Missy is a sweet and friendly, Blue Cattle Dog x Jack Russell Terrier🌼. She is smaller than a cattle dog but larger than a Jack Russell. She is 9yo and weighs 14kgs. She is a very stable, well trained and easy-going dog. She is friendly with people and with other dogs.

She greets you joyously when you come home and welcomes visitors. On walks, she ignores people and other dogs and just enjoys sniffing and playing. She can be an only dog or live with other dogs.

Missy is fine home alone or with another dog while you’re at work. When people are home she likes to be inside with them because she loves being with people. She’s a terrific lap dog.

Missy is housetrained and uses a doggie door. She isn’t a nuisance barker, and mostly only barks if the other dogs start. She’s likes going in the car and jumps right in.

🥎Missy’s favourite game is to fetch a tennis ball, especially if you use a throw stick to send it very far. She comes when called and can be let off lead. She also enjoys a game of tug with a person or other dog. Missy has good basic training and knows “sit”, “down”, “wait” and “come”.

Missy is good with children but she wouldn’t enjoy a busy household with young ones under 8, but young visitors are fine. She hasn’t been tested with cats but if you have a cat then we could test Missy to see how she reacts.

Missy has been well loved and cared for. She was very sadly surrendered to dog rescue when her 90yo owner passed away. Missy’s birthday is 25/3/2015. Missy is a cross between two very healthy and intelligent breeds. She can be expected to live to around 15 years old so she still has lots of quality years ahead of her to spend in her forever home.

* Will take her for a walk each day.
* Will throw a tennis ball for her.
* Doesn’t have children under 8.
* Other resident dogs are fine.
* Has a yard with secure fencing.

Missy is in foster care in Eleebana, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle). ⭐She is available for adoption to the east coast states: NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC, SA. You will need to come and meet her in person.

Her adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, worms and heart worms, microchipped and lifetime registered.
