About Russell
Introducing Russell, a vibrant 17-month-old Australian Cattle Dog and Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix with a heart full of love and boundless energy. Russell is an affectionate companion ready to fill your home with companionship and laughter. His playful nature is truly contagious, especially evident during his lively visits to the dog park, where he enjoys running and socializing with other dogs.
Russell is in the process of learning good manners while walking on a leash, demonstrating his eagerness to grow and improve with a little guidance from his new family. He is already house-trained and working diligently on his crate training. While he's untested with cats, his adaptable nature suggests he could learn to cohabit harmoniously with the right guidance.
This young pup is known for his endearing nature, feeling a bit forlorn when his foster carers prepare for bedtime, offering a small, charming bark. His favorite time is spent lounging with his humans while they watch TV, showcasing just how much he values human connection.
Russell would thrive best in a home with older children who can appreciate his spirited nature without the risk of getting accidentally knocked over. Russell is an ideal choice for a home that loves to be active. If you’re ready to welcome an affectionate and playful dog into your life, Russell is ready to give you his heart!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
