Drax

Hi, I'm Drax and I am a special little boy who is now on the search for my new forever home! Is that going to be with you?

As I am a Maremma I will need a family that understands my breed ad what I was made to do. As a guardian breed I will need a lot of socialisation and ongoing training to make sure that I become a nice well rounded little man. You will need to understand the management I will need in a home due to my breed behaviours. As a young pup I will need solid and secure fencing as well as indoor and outdoor access. I will not be suited to apartment living and will need a large yard to roam in.

It would also be best for me if there was someone home all the time while I am settling in. This will help me feel calm and relaxed throughout my day. I have shown some social behaviours with other dogs but can still show some fear with big boisterous dogs so we will have to make sure if you have a canine, we are the right match. I will to meet all family members on the day of adoption as well to make sure any little and I get along well.
