Burtie is dressed to impress with her dapper tuxedo markings and long white whiskers. This fierce little lady is the perfect combination of playful and loving. She enjoys spending her days chasing toys and running through tunnels, then spends her evenings curled up in your arms demanding forehead kisses. Burtie has lived in foster with cats and dogs, and would love another playful cat to keep her company in her new home.

Initially a stray, Burtie was unsure of humans and preferred to keep her distance. Since spending time in our care she has grown to love the presence of her humans and laps up all the love and play she can get; though sudden movements or being approached too quickly can still cause her to startle.

Burtie would be suited to most home types, though would prefer not to be left home alone for long hours without a human or cat to keep her company. Any children in the home should also be cat savvy to help her continue to gain confidence.

If you are looking for two kittens, Burtie's brother Jamie is also looking for his home and they would love to go together!

LOCATION: ONSITE AT SCAR *Adoption Process* This animal is located in our Adoption Centre at 23 Grasslands Avenue, Craigieburn VIC If you are interested in meeting this pet, please call us first to make sure they are still available. You can meet cats and kittens housed on site at SCAR between 9am-4pm Tuesday-Friday. We can only facilitate greets on a weekend with an appointment, so please send in an application via Pet Rescue if you would like to come in on a Saturday. Always best to give us a call first (9357 0834) before you come down, but we often have other pets who may be a great fit for you to meet that you may fall in love with in foster care in the event that you don't find your match the first time!
