Miss Melly is more of a ‘Life-be-in-it' kind of girl!
At 4 1/2, Melly is and unusual mix of playful and inquisitive pup, and mature female, confident, highly intelligent, and spiked with loads of initiative.
After sleeping undisturbed through her nights, Melly 's days begins with an explosion of joy and happiness as soon as you greet her in the morning. She loves big cuddles, pats and hugs. She loves a toy throw and quivers all over with her excitement of living her new life.
Melly is and absolute comedian and is up there with the happiest dogs we have ever fostered. Melly loves eye contact and when she looks at you she looks deeply into your eyes.
Melly is then super enthusiastic about getting her breakfast and her walk. After that Melly is happy to loll about soaking up her new life as a loved companion. Whether she is just next to you at home, is with you in the car, at a family picnic or is included in anything else you are up to she is chilled and happy. Melly is unusually chilled and quietly confident for such a young dog. Except for when she is doing her twice daily zoomies and energy explosions. Nothing much phases her. She is supercool in heavy traffic, sudden noises, large crowds, on the train, greyhound walks and other unfamiliar situations.
She loves a ball, a soft throw toy and a good zoomie! She is affectionate but not needy. She is very quick to learn new words, new rules and new boundaries. She is so easy to have around. This girl is super clean with a gorgeous velvety soft coat and the cutest “this way and that” ears you will ever see.
Melly loves meeting people of all ages and will readily accept pats and greetings. She is still honing her social skills with other dogs but given her responsiveness and intelligence will master these skills with ongoing guidance.
Melly’s wish list for her forever home would be to be the only princess in her castle with a loving family, couple or single person environment, where she will be included in all of life, and is not left alone for extended periods of time.
Melly really is the complete package and a perfect companion. Did I mention that Melly’s tail never stops wagging, even in her sleep!
