About Humphrey - 6 Month Old Poodle
Humphrey is a sweet, playful, 6 month old Standard Poodle who will grow to be a large size dog.
Poodles are a high energy, smart breed. Humphrey has a lot of energy to burn and is looking for a home where he will be exercised 1 hour daily (walking, fetch, etc). He loves playing fetch and has a few “brain training” toys he thoroughly enjoys mastering. Humphrey LOVES his toys!
Humphrey will need a home dedicated to training including walking on a leash, toilet training and basic commands. He is very smart and with the proper time and training, he will thrive. This training as a puppy will be extra important for Humphrey noting he is going to be a big dog when fully grown.
Being a Poodle, Humphrey will require regular professional grooming and coat maintenance daily.
Humphrey has had little exposure to the world outside of a backyard so will need the time to learn and grow his confidence and his new family will have to be dedicated to taking things at his pace. He very sweet and demonstrates an interest in children, following them around, however, is still quite timid so wouldn’t suit a home with children under 10 who may chase him.
Humphrey loves a cuddle and will follow you around the house or happily play with his toys next to you.
Humphrey has shown an interest in water and you’ll often find him in the shower waiting for the water so one of his favourite adventures is sure to involve the water.
Humphrey is currently living as an only dog and with the right exercise and mental stimulation, he is completely fine with this. He is dog friendly so could live with another doggy sibling also.
Humphrey is in foster care in Berkeley Vale, NSW. His adoption fee is $1000 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
