About Molly & Benji
Meet 8 yo Molly and 6 yo Benji, a delightful mother-and-son duo seeking a loving new family. Their story is one of deep bonds and gentle affection, having spent their lives side by side and finding comfort in each other's company.
Despite moving on from their previous home, where their devoted owner could no longer care for them, Molly and Benji are ready to bring loyalty and joy to a family who will cherish them both.
Molly, a sweet little lady, has a heart-warming presence that brightens any room. She adores human companionship, and there's nothing she loves more than cuddling up on a warm lap. Her playful side shines when she's frolicking in the garden, and she is beautifully house-trained, making her a low-maintenance, lovable partner at home. Molly enjoys snuggling up with her humans at night, undoubtedly dreaming of days well spent with her best mate and son Benji.
On the other hand, Benji, a charming young lad, loves to lounge around and curl up on the couch for a cosy snooze. His curious nature often leads him to the backyard, where he indulges his senses by sniffing around the greenery.
Despite a mild tremor reminiscent of human Parkinson’s (in video attached), Benji remains fit, healthy, and full of life, making him a unique and endearing dog. His veterinary assessments have not confirmed the condition from which he suffers, but fortunately it's not painful and doesn't limit his ability to live a vibrant life. At night, he happily cuddles up with Molly, providing warmth and companionship until morning breaks.
Both Molly and Benji are child-friendly, cat-friendly and dog-friendly.
They are seeking a family that will embrace them as the inseparable pair they are. If you have space in your heart and home for this delightful duo, they promise to fill your days with love, laughter, and delightful companionship.
Medical notes
Both Molly and Benji have had full dentals, including scale and clean, since coming into our care. Molly had seven extractions and Benji had five.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
