Cuddly, affectionate girl!
- Lucy's ideal world is to have endless supply of love and affection. She loves to be picked up and cuddled often and enjoys sitting on laps. She will follow you around wanting to know what you are doing and where you are going every minute of the day.
- She is well behaved at night and will sleep on the bed. Prefers to sleep under the sheets or cuddled in your arms.
- She takes on quickly to new people and also does well with groups. The more laps and pats the better! She doesn't like to be left alone for long periods but she does adapt quickly to new people if you need a sitter.
- Lucy is a bit of technology kid. She enjoys watching cat TV on youtube and will watch human TV too. Will also play cat games on the phone/ Tablet. Lucy doesn't tend to play by herself. She prefers to have someone throw the bouncy balls and run around with the string toys.
- She is litter trained, loves her food and isn’t a fussy eater.
- She has a particular interest for the face and neck and is probably best not suited for very young children as she likes put herself in a position close to the face and will sit on the chest and shoulders.
- Lucy is in the process of being harness trained and is untested with other cats and dogs.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee includes desexing, vaccinations, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
