Shaeleigh

Meet Shaeleigh.
She is a beautiful nearly 5 year old Shar Pei.
She has been in care since early October, she has settled in and getting used to the changes she had to go through but is now looking forward to meeting her new family or person.

This girl's happiness is infectious, she is a shear delight to be around, she just loves to be around people and to have a play with you. Shaeleigh loves going for walks, playing with the other dogs in care and really enjoys having a good splash in the shell pool to keep cool on those hot days. Shaeleigh just likes being happy and carefree.

When Shaeleigh first came into care she had a bad reaction towards males but since being in care, her carers have been working with her to overcome that issue and she is now beginning to think men aren't so bad after all but still a little bit anxious.

She greets you with this deep bark that says about time you came to see me!!!!
This girl would make an amazing new addition to the right family that will be there for her and to slowly guide her into the transition of becoming part of their family.
Shaeleigh plays ok with other dogs reasonably well but she tends to get over stimulated and mouthy and needs time out to calm down. With some training that issue can be rectified.

Shaeleigh looks to be a big girl in her photo's but she is quite small really. Shar Pei typically stand between 44cm-51cm and will weigh between 16-20kg.
