About Cleo
Hi there! I’m Cleo!
I’ve got my paws crossed that you might be the family I’ve been dreaming of! Let me tell you a little bit about myself—
I’ve had a bit of a rough start in life. After being abandoned, I ended up on death row in a pound with my time running out. But thanks to a wonderful foster carer and Off The Chain K9 Rescue, I was given a second chance!
Since coming into foster care, I’ve been nothing but a joy. I’m already house-trained, and I sleep soundly in my crate at night. I'm well-behaved when I'm left alone for a few hours during the day (around 5 hours), making me a great fit for a family with a busier schedule. Right now, I live with a toddler human, another dog, and a whole bunch of cool animals, like birds, chickens, ducks, rats, a lizard, and even a cat! I get along with everyone and my gentle nature and easy-going personality allow me to blend seamlessly with everyone in the household—whether they have feathers, scales, or fur!
I like to spend my time playing with my rope toy, going for car rides (I’m great in the car!), and practicing my “sit” command—I’m pretty proud of that one. I can get a little bit nervous when cars pass by on walks. It’s a bit scary for me, but with some patience and encouragement, I know I can get better at it. Other than that, I love walks and would love to go on adventures with you a couple of times a week!
If you’ve got a yard with a 4-foot fence or higher, that’s perfect for me. I love to run around, stretch my legs, and play outside. Having a doggy friend to romp with would be the cherry on top! It helps me get my zoomies out and makes playtime even better. They would also helps keep me company when my humans are busy. I'm around knee height, and while I might fill out a bit more, I should be pretty close to my full-grown height—just the right size for all kinds of adventures!
So, what do you think? If you’re looking for a fun-loving, family-friendly pup who gets along with everyone, I might just be your perfect match. If you’ve made it this far, maybe it’s a sign! Apply to adopt me today—I’m ready to bring a lot of love and joy into your life!

NEED TRANSPORT?
1. Apply to adopt per the above process.
2. Get quotes and select your desired transporter. We recommend Aeropets, Jetpets, and Dogtainers. Contact us for weights, height etc where needed. We also recommend Pet Waggin pet transport who can assist with road transport.
3. Message or email us to say you have applied and that you will require transport. Tell us which company and a potential departure date from that pet's nearest airport or meet point.
4. If your application is successful, we will lock in a date with you, coordinate any required 'fit to fly' certifications, a food delivery to your home, and appropriate training to make your new pet as comfortable on transport as possible.
5. All adoption contracts, adoption fees, and photo ID must be submitted to us via email before animal boards transport.
We will take into consideration the pet's ability to travel safely and comfortably before agreeing to send them on transport, and expect a high level of care from whatever company is engaged to move the animal.
