If you would like to bring home a lovely older boy who is calm, friendly and loves being your shadow, look no further …. Baklava is here!
This boy is just as sweet as his namesake dessert and loves to follow his foster mum around to keep a close eye on her. Baklava is well mannered and respectful and wants nothing else other than your love and attention.
He is very happy being home alone when his foster mum is away and enjoys the company of the resident fur-sisters.
Baklava is friendly, responsive, good with routine, not aggressive and receptive to commands and your vibe.
He hardly barks at home; however, he might bark out of excitement at times. This behaviour settles after some reassuring pats and a cuddle.
Although Baklava is 13 years old, he enjoys walks at the park and car rides, loves his food and is a happy boy with nothing but big smiles for you!
Medical:
Health information:
1. Our vet has determined (through a blood and urine test) that he has Cushing’s disease however, this disease is not considered fatal. As the disease progresses, some management may be required as per the vet’s directions. The approximate costs of the same can be provided upon request.
2. Previous owners provided paperwork relating to a knee injury he had in the past while playing at the park. Although, Baklava has had surgery on the knee a while ago, he walks fine and has no limp or any other issues. He is also happy using the stairs.
If you have any specific questions or need further details regarding Baklava’s health information mentioned above, his foster mum would be happy to have a chat over the phone.
Baklava would like to spend the last years of his life with his family who shower him with love and kisses and enjoy every day together by involving him in their daily life as much as possible.
Please apply to adopt this gorgeous boy and give him a special place in your heart and your home.
