About Wednesday
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Wednesday is a delightful tortie with a vibrant personality that’s impossible to resist! She is trusting and resilient, and loves to chat away, often greeting her humans if she hasn't seen them for a spell. She’ll happily accept being picked up and carried around, but her preferred spot is beside you. She has enough love to spread around a whole family, and she can easily absorb a few human's worth of attention - but she's also a content cat who appreciates quiet time and engaging with cat things, such as watching birds through the windows. Wednesday seems quite trainable as she shows an interest in her human's approval. When there is a social occasion, Wednesday won't shy away - she finds her place in the circle with everyone else.
My Ideal Home:
A family setting would be ideal for Wednesday's level of sociability. Her foster family thinks she particularly appreciates older children as they have plenty of pats to give. Wednesday takes her time to warm up to other cats, so a solo environment would be her best fit. Like all kittens from Hunter Animal Rescue, she should be rehomed as an indoor-only cat or in a secure cat enclosure to ensure her safety and well-being.
What is Known About My Background:
Wednesday was rescued after being abandoned with her siblings and brought to a local vet for care. She has since been microchipped, desexed, and is fully up-to-date on her vaccinations and parasite treatment. She’s ready to find her forever home and share her love!
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Wednesday takes her time to warm up to new cats and so is best suited as a solo cat. She hasn’t had any encounters with dogs yet, but it’s likely that she would prefer not to have them around indoors. Wednesday is gentle in her play, good natured, and quite tolerant, she currently lives with and adores an older primary school kid - and she is absolutely up for it when there's a slumber party! Not even balloons popping or video game induced squealing deters Wednesday from hanging out with her loved ones.
