About Pumpkin
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Pumpkin is an adorable ginger kitten who is an absolute sweetheart! He is initially a little shy but once he gets a pat the purrs begin and you'll quickly win him over! Pumpkin loves to play with kitten toys, and is a great ball chaser. His favourite things are neck scratches, belly rubs and food!
My Ideal Home:
Pumpkin would love a home with his sister Autumn or another friendly cat. If he is rehomed as a solo kitten, he will need someone who is around a lot to keep him company. As he is a quieter kitten, he would suit a home without young children. As with all Hunter Animal Rescue kittens, he is to be rehomed as indoor only or in a secure cat enclosure.
What is Known About My Background:
Pumpkin was abandoned with his siblings before being found and taken to a local vet. He has now been microchipped, desexed and is up-to-date with his vaccinations and parasite treatment.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Pumpkin loves his sister Autumn and would be happy around a new friendly cat. He hasn't yet met any dogs but may be okay after an appropriate introduction. Pumpkin is gentle and so would be fine with children, however given his quieter nature would suit a home without young children.

Adoption details
Applicants will be required to complete and submit an Adoption form from https://www.hunteranimalrescue.com.au
HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1- Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2- If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3- If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
