About Romeo
Meet Romeo, a friendly and affectionate pup who absolutely loves cuddles and walks. This charming boy is the perfect companion for lazy afternoons or outdoor adventures, especially beach walks where he enjoys paddling in the water. However, don’t be fooled into thinking he’ll love getting wet at bath time...absolutely not!
Romeo is a playful spirit, always eager for a game of tug-of-war with humans or other dogs. He loves his chew toys and will even find something to carry out into the yard for a light chew, particularly enjoying the odd palm frond. He’s not a destructive chewer, just a playful pup looking for fun.
Spirited in the mornings and afternoons, Romeo gets excited when you let him inside or return home. After some playtime, he’s content to sit by your side or follow you around the house. Two short walks a day are just right to keep him happy and worn out. He enjoys having something to gnaw on when home alone.
Social and friendly, Romeo is always playful with other dogs. He tends to ignore rabbits and chickens on walks, but if he sees a cat, that’s a different story, he’s keen to pursue and say hello. He’s had positive interactions with kids, accepting gentle pats from an 18-month-old, though he tends to focus more on his older humans.
Romeo is a total smoocher; he’ll be your little shadow, often preferring to sit on you or touch you with his paw. He’d rather curl up on a chair or even on the outdoor dining table than use a dog bed.
Romeo walks well on and off lead, and his recall is impressive unless another dog is nearby, then he just has to say hello, so could do with a bit more practice! He’s great in social settings too, handling dinner parties with a crowd of strangers like a pro, soaking up any attention he can get.
Overall, Romeo is a delightful dog who will make an excellent companion for individuals, couples, or families. If you’re looking for a loving friend who’s full of personality and affection, Romeo is ready to bring joy into your life.
Dogs make wonderful companions, and the benefits of bringing one home are immense. They’re loyal, loving, and endlessly entertaining. Plus, you’ll never be lonely or bored with a pup by your side.
Adopting a dog can also provide you with an opportunity to give a pup in need a second chance. With the right amount of love and patience, you can help your pooch become a confident, well-rounded canine companion.
You’ll also get to experience the unique bond between two-legged and four-legged friends. Plus, dogs can provide you with plenty of physical and mental health benefits. From providing you with daily exercise, to reducing stress and anxiety, to providing you with unconditional love and companionship, the advantages of canine ownership are endless.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
