About Spud
Meet Spud, a 1-year-old border collie x boy who is bursting with affection and enthusiasm!
This high-energy boy is clear on his priorities: cuddles, food and playtime! Spud loves his humans and loves playing with other dogs, and is always found in the middle of the action with his foster pack.
In care, Spud has been tested with kittens, toddlers, horses and other dogs and is curious, respectful and playful. Spud is smart and eager to learn. He knows his basic commands and will enjoy more advanced training and agility work.
Whilst Spud is a high energy dog, he also has a great ‘off’ switch, happily snuggling up for a cuddle and sleeping through the night without any problems.
He is best suited to a home with another high-energy doggy companion who will enjoy zooming and wrestling. He needs an energetic family who will make him part of their pack, taking him on all their adventures whether that be running, cycling or playing a game of footy. Spud won’t care as long as he is part of it! Spud will thrive in a home where there is plenty of room for him to run and play to his heart's content.
If you're looking for an active and fun-loving companion to join you on all your adventures, Spud could be the perfect match for you!
Spud is located in VIC.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
