About Pretty
Pretty is a beautiful three year old German Shepherd whose owner has had to make the hard decision to find her a new home due to their medical issues.
She walks well on a lead but isn't getting enough exercise at the moment.
She has visited family members with other dogs, but not socialised to much now.
Pretty hasn't been tested with cats or pocket pets.
She will require an experienced German Shepherd owner who will place structure in her life and maintain boundaries to help her develop confidence in her new environment with human interactions.
Pretty is currently living at Bonnyrigg Heights, but will be in Traralgon for three weeks over Christmas.
If you have recently owned a German Shepherd or large breed dog, and understand German Shepherd and think you have the commitment to give me a new home, then please select the "Enquire about Pretty" and we will send you an application form or go to our website and complete the application form.

If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet her. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
