Suzie

Suzie is an absolute delight—a loyal, loving, and goofy Foxhound who’s ready to start her new life after being released from a research facility. The world is still new and strange to her, so Suzie is learning the ropes, but with her sweet nature and curious spirit, she’s well on her way to becoming a beloved member of someone’s family.

Suzie loves having a doggy companion and must have another dog in her forever home. She’ll be happiest with a dog who doesn’t mind that she likes to be in charge—Suzie’s confident personality means she’s a bit of a boss lady! Her best friend Zorro is also looking for a home, and they’re a match made in heaven. If you’re open to adopting two hounds, Suzie and Zorro would love to stay together. Wherever Zorro goes, Suzie follows—monkey see, monkey do!

This lovely girl is energetic yet lazy, clumsy yet sweet. She has a strong, determined spirit on the lead, so she’ll need a family who can guide her with patience and love. Suzie isn’t cat-friendly, but she more than makes up for it with her funny, quirky personality.

To help with her transition, Suzie is on anti-anxiety medication, which will be provided by us. She’ll need secure fencing and must never be off-lead outside of her fenced yard, ensuring she stays safe as she adjusts to her new life. At night, Suzie must sleep indoors—she’s all about comfort and being close to her family.
