About Elora
Elora just LOVES pats. She wants to give you a bit of a sniff first, just to make sure you're all OK, and then she wants you to pat her practically forever. She'll jump up to your hand just to make sure she gets the pats she deserves.
She's happy to sit on your lap (basically she's holding you down to get pats), or curl up with you in bed.
When she's not demanding pats, she's happy to snooze the day away, or play with the other foster cats in her foster home. She's fine with the dogs in her foster home too. She's totally unconcerned by them.
She's also good with older kids (she hasn't really been around little kids yet). She's very gentle.
Could Elora be perfect for your home?
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
