Meet Piper

Piper's story will truly break your heart, left in the pound after 10 years but was also kept as an outside-only dog, we don't know for how long 🥺

Piper loves to be loved; she has bonded so strongly to her foster mum, but we know she is brave enough to now find that bond with her new family. She loves cuddles, the more the better she will let you pat her all day every day if you're up for it 💕

We are seeking someone who is home at least part-time or with multiple people in the house so she's not left on her own for hours on end. She doesn't have separation anxiety, but due to her life of being left alone in a backyard, she really thrives off having company. She truly deserves to be so spoilt and to hang out and have cuddles as much as possible 🥹

Piper is toilet trained! But because Piper was locked outside with no human interaction, she has a phobia of being left alone again 🥺so she avoids going outside by herself. She is learning that she can come in whenever she wants, but her foster mum has been going in and out with her to overcome that fear. Over time, she will realise she isn't going to be locked outside and will enjoy going in and out by herself. It's so heartwarming to see how happy she is now that she is an inside girl finally having the love she deserves.

She loves to go for a walk, and when you pull the lead out, she's super excited!!
Piper has had a welfare shave and a dental while in our care. Her beautiful coat will grow back and will require lots of brushing. She happily lets you brush her because she loves the attention 🥰

Piper needs an adult-only home for her retirement. Teenagers can work but please no young kids 🙅‍♀️
10 years old and above.

It's extremely rewarding and special watching Piper finally enjoy her life and for the first time receive endless pats and cuddles. She does the cutest little boops with her about if you stop patting her! So prepare for endless snuggles!
