About Licorice & Midnight STA012634 & STA012635
Meet Licorice (5yo) and Midnight (2yo), a pair of beautiful and endearing felines searching for their perfect human companion. These two have personalities as striking as their physical appearance. While they are nervous and timid when meeting new people or entering new environments, they promise to reward your patience with companionship.
Licorice and Midnight are inquisitive souls who thrive in a quiet home where they can truly relax. They'll do well in a serene environment without children or canine companions. Instead, these gentle boys are quite at ease with other feline friends, providing them with a sense of comfort and camaraderie.
Food is the way to Licorice and Midnight's hearts, and they love playtime with their beloved toys, slowly revealing their delightful personalities. Give them time, space, and love, and you'll discover their true inquisitive nature—one full of curiosity and potential. Patience is the key to helping them build their confidence, and the rapport you'll establish is well worth the wait.
Both are FIV+ so will need to be indoors only to protect other felines in the neighborhood and for their own safety and security.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
