About Shabu and Shilo
Meet Shabu, a slightly more confident feline who carries with her the heartwarming allure of a once street-wise cat. Shabu has a captivating lynx point coat that speaks to her refined and elegant nature. Though her beginnings were humble, her journey from street cat to an affectionate companion is nothing short of inspiring.
While initially fearful of people and dogs, Shabu has slowly unfolded into a creature that appreciates the gentle touch of a human hand. The first explorer and curious adventurer among her siblings, she bravely allowed pats, albeit a little confused at first. Prospective adopters should be prepared for a journey of companionship that requires patience and understanding as Shabu takes her time to build trust. It's important to recognize that Shabu may need up to six months to fully come out of her shell, but the rewards of witnessing her transformation into an affectionate and loving friend are immeasurable.
Shabu shares a special bond with her sister, Shilo, and would thrive best in a home experienced with nurturing shy cats. Ideally, she will join a peaceful household without children or dogs where she and Shilo can support and comfort each other. A gentle, patient adopter who comprehends the importance of allowing Shabu the space and time she needs will find a loyal and loving companion in her.
The adoption process includes a long meet and greet to ensure a harmonious match and give Shabu the opportunity to get accustomed at her own pace. Furthermore, a return policy ensures the needs and happiness of both Shabu and her adopter are met. Embark on this incredible journey with Shabu, and you'll find a deeply loyal partner willing to shower you with affection when the time is right.
