About Shilo and Shabu
Meet Shilo and Shabu, a pair of gentle souls who are seeking a patient and dedicated new family to call their own. These bonded sisters share a unique bond and have been through life's ups and downs together. Shilo, the more reserved of the two, carries the experiences of her past as a former street cat, and she's gradually learning to trust humans. With a bit of patience and understanding, she can be coaxed out of her shell—especially if tasty treats are involved.
Shilo's ideal adopter is someone experienced with shy cats and willing to invest the time it takes to earn her trust. They will notice her gentle curiosity that she is not afraid to display when exploring her surroundings. It might take six months or more before she's comfortable enough to be petted and enjoy her new life, but the rewards of patience are immeasurable. An experienced cat owner can rest assured that she will become a loving companion given time and understanding.
Shabu, Shilo's sibling, is her constant companion and provides a sense of comfort that helps them both thrive. The sisters would love an indoor home where they feel safe and secure. With no children or dogs around, Shilo and Shabu can truly shine and feel at ease. As they are okay with other cats, feline companionship could be a positive aspect of their new life.
Potential adopters are encouraged to have a long meet and greet to ensure everyone's needs are met and matched. A return policy exists should unforeseen circumstances arise, reflecting our genuine care for both Shilo and Shabu's well-being.

Adoption details
Trial periods are given to ensure the cat/kitten is the Purrfect Match for your situation and refund is available within the agreed trial period that is geared to suit the individual cat.
Please request an EOI form indicating your interest in a cat or kitten you wish to adopt. We can then organize a meet and greet.
If you decide to go ahead with the adoption you are required to complete the adoption application forms and transfer of microchip paperwork.
The shelter will have these documents for you to complete or they can be sent to you via email. Payment can be made via direct deposit or cash at the time of adoption.
Cats are sold desexed and micro-chipped. They will be up to date on their worming and flea treatment. Vaccination is an optional extra.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless other wise stated as in the case of BARN/FARM cats.. ALL our cats are for INDOOR HOMES ONLY or specially built cat enclosures.
We want our cats/kittens to be safe and have as long a life as possible and for the wildlife to be safe too!
Please respect our wishes with these requirements. We care about our cats and matching the cat to the adopter is important as is the home they are going to.
NOTE: All ages of cats are an estimate only as per microchip paperwork supplied by council.
