About Kohl
Requirements:
Must meet all family members
Kids (any age)
Inside only or cat enclosure
Meet Kohl,
Kohl is a gentle, sweet & friendly girl who is suitable for first time owners. Kohl is very happy, confident & curious -she loves love & is very affectionate & engaging. She also likes to have a chat & will happily chirp away to discuss her day with you.
Kohl is best suitable for any household environment as she is agreeable & very easy-going.
Kohl is open to meet kids of any age too. Kohl loves human interaction and especially loves being patted (literally everywhere). She will rub herself all over you, bunting your hand, she'll flop down in front of you & purr away as she makes biscuits.
Kohl doesn’t mind being picked up, carried & cuddled - she loves being near you, in your lap, receiving all of your attention.
As we cannot test, we are unsure if Kohl would be fine to live with dogs or other cats. This would be up to the discretion of her new owners. If you intend on introducing Kohl to existing animals we recommend doing so over a few days, with a slow introduction.
Kohl is best to be indoors only as the outside world poses many risks, such as her getting lost, injured or worst – she loves being inside, where her bed is. Or if you must have her outside, we recommend that you have a cat enclosure so that she can be outside but still contained for her safety.
Kohl has low energy & is not interested in playing with toys. She prefers human interaction or simply sleeping in her bed with the occasional walk around to explore if given the chance. She's a real sucker for a comfy bed & adoration from her human friends.
Kohl is not fussy with food; she likes all food - and she has a special place in her heart for Crunchers & creamy treats.
Kohl is very tidy, she always uses her litter tray!
Staff Comments: Kohl is a very sweet & super affectionate cat who loves to sleep all day. She is very friendly and will head bunt & chirp at you while you pat her. She loves a good cuddle but she is also quite curious & likes to explore.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
