About Stormi
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
This handsome gentle giant is Stormi and he's on the lookout for his new forever home.
Sadly this beautiful little guy was abandoned at a vet in the eastern suburbs. Apparently a woman walked in and said "my daughter has too many cats, you need to put him down" and just walked out. But fortunately the vet was good enough to hang onto him until they were able to find a rescue that was able to take him on and now here he is available for adoption.
Though we couldn't possibly imagine what could have triggered such an outburst as Stormi has not put a foot wrong since he has arrived. He is the sweetest little gentleman and has a very kind and loving nature. Right away he was happy to be picked up and cuddled and he was keen to have a pat. He hasn't so much as hissed at another cat.
When he first arrived he was initially very keen to explore but then found a hiding spot under the couch and decided he wasn't going to come out unless he absolutely had to. We have since moved him to a foster home with other pets and while he seemed happy initially, he has since become anxious and grumpy in such a busy environment.
While this gentle giant absolutely loves human interaction it's clear he's not a big fan of other animals, so we would love to find him a home where he can be the king of his castle and not have to worry about sharing his human family with another pet. He would be best suited to a retiree or home body that has plenty of love and time to give this smoochy little fella.
Probably also a household without young kids.
Given that he has gone through a stressful time, it may take him a moment to settle into his new home, but we're certain that with time and love, whoever adopts him will find themselves with a smoochy and loving new companion.
If you're looking for a gentle natured little gentleman to join your household then Stormi is the cat for you. He is filled to the brim with unconditional love and just wants to be loved in turn. Stormi can be picked up and cuddled, loves to play and will make himself at home on your shoulder once he gets to know you. He's a bit of a chunky monkey but that's for the best because chunky boys give the best cuddles :)
Stormi is approximately 2 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous fella with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with him.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
