This handsome gentle giant is Stormi and he's on the lookout for his new forever home.

Sadly this beautiful little guy was abandoned at a vet in the eastern suburbs. Apparently a woman walked in and said "my daughter has too many cats, you need to put him down". Fortunately the vet was good enough to hang onto him until they were able to find a rescue that was able to take him on and now here he is available for adoption.

Though we couldn't possibly imagine what could have triggered such an outburst as Stormi has not put a foot wrong since he has arrived. He is the sweetest little gentleman and has a very kind and loving nature. Right away he was happy to be picked up and cuddled and he was keen to have a pat. He hasn't so much as hissed at another cat.

He was very keen to explore straight away but has since found a safe spot under the couch where he will most likely hang out for the next few days, until he's feeling confident in his new surroundings.

If you're looking for a gentle natured little gentleman to join your household then Stormi is the cat for you. You can tell right away that he is filled to the brim with unconditional love and just wants to be loved in turn.

He's a bit of a chunky monkey but that's for the best as they give the best cuddles :)

Stormi is just about to turn 2 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
