About Ziggy
Are you wanting a super chilled boy who loves his humans and life?
Please meet me - my name is Ziggy and I am a 8 year and 10 month old Pug x
I am a super chilled boy who loves his humans and going for walks and car adventures!
I am currently in care with a couple of other dogs and do better with dogs either around my size or smaller - big breed dogs can bring out the small man syndrome in me (oops sorry about that!)
I am a healthy 10.1kgs and ready for some fun!
I am currently with my foster mum who works 2 days a week in the office and I don't mind that - but wouldn't like a home where your away from home 5 days a week.
I am fine being left home while you’re out doing your errands and things but if there is time when I came come with you I would love that.
I do love going for a walk but can get a little nervous in new environments so a good smile and a few encouraging words (and even a pat) will really help and i would love the change of pace.
I do like to play and explore with some of my foster siblings but could very happily be an only dog as well.
I will be your little shadow but not in a painful way. I just loves his humans and wants to be a part of it all.
I did come into care and is now desexed as well as a dental scale and polish - so now my smiley whites are happy to be shown :-)
I love having access to inside and outside thru the day and night and I am toilet trained.
I have beautiful manners (my foster mum always says when I sit for my dinner)
My foster mum says I am so full of love and are a happy boy and of course a handsome boy!
I am not tested with cats
I am also good with kids and love a cuddle and some attention from them!
I currently sleep on my dog bed in my foster mums room and also happy being crated at night.
So if you’re looking for a happy chilled boy who just wants to make his person or people happy - apply for me now!

All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
Please note - We don't take calls on adoption enquiries - an application must be completed
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
