About Kenny
Meet Kenny, the adorable little rabbit who was found abandoned in a box on a building site, just like his sisters. Despite his humble beginnings, Kenny is anything but ordinary - in fact, he's quite the unique character. You see, Kenny was born with a condition called megacolon, which means his digestive system doesn't function properly. As a result, he requires a very specialized diet of grass hay and high-fiber rabbit pellets to stay healthy and happy. But don't let his dietary restrictions fool you - this little guy is full of energy and personality.
Kenny is a true daredevil, often seen zipping around corners and sliding across the floor in a flurry of movement. He loves to binky, which is that joyful leap rabbits do when they're feeling playful and carefree. Kenny will binky and bounce until he simply can't anymore, at which point he'll hop up onto the couch, make himself comfortable, and demand all eyes be on him. This rabbit is quite the showman!
Beyond his energetic antics, Kenny is also incredibly curious. He's always investigating his surroundings, sniffing out new smells and exploring every nook and cranny. In fact, he's been known to race around the house as if he's driving in the Indy 500, determined to see and experience everything at record breaking speed. With his lightning-fast reflexes and nimble movements, Kenny is truly the "drift king" of the rabbit world. This little flash is sure to win every race, leaving his owners in awe of his remarkable skills and charming personality. Kenny may have had a rough start, but there's no doubt he's living life to the fullest - one quarter mile at a time.

Adoption details
To meet our bunnies you will need to make a non obligated "Adoption" appointment where all your questions will be answered.
https://blueyalicebunnyrefuge.org.au/book-online/
We will not adopt any bunnies out unless they have met you. They can be sensitive little creatures and we need to make sure that both the bunny and hoomins will be happy with their new match.
Coming to the Refuge for an appointment is the best way to know what bunny is best for your family. We like as many of the family to come out on that day, so you can all sit with different buns to see who you connect with.
This is actually a vital part as it will determine if there are any family members that present with allergies! There is nothing more shattering to anyone than to take home an adored new pet only to have to return them because someone else in the house shows a severe allergy. Mild allergies can be managed but not severe ones!
Please note that there are only some bunnies suitable on their own. Most bunnies will need to be adopted with a companion.
To meet our bunnies you will need to make a "Bonding" appointment where all your questions will be answered.
https://blueyalicebunnyrefuge.org.au/book-online/
Of course if you wish to find a companion for your bunny, bring your bun too. Your buns vaccination will need to be up to date & within the last 10 months.
Please note that rabbit bonding only happens at the rescue and we do not allow adopters to bond offsite.
