- Hi, my name is Lucy! I am a big gentle couch potato and my foster family say I am very sweet. I love to please them and always greet them with a big smile and a waggy bottom!
- I love going for walks and I am very good on the lead. I know how to sit and heel and come when asked.
- I've been living with another doggy and we get on okay, ideally, I would prefer having my new family to myself
- So far the cats at the house haven't bothered me too much, but they don't bother with me either. 
- I really love being inside with my family, laying on my bed knowing that I am right near my foster family should they need me.
- If my new family would like cuddles on the couch, I am happy for that too! This is not to say that I don't mind exploring the garden and checking if the outside is safe.
- When I first got to my foster family's home the new noises and smells took me a little while to get used to. My new family would need to be patient with me becoming accustomed to my new surroundings as I might bark a bit at the start. 
- Once I’ve settled in I’m really happy to be left at home if you need to go to work.
- I love playing soccer with the kids. I will bring the ball back to you for as long as you want to keep playing.
- My foster family say I look kinda goofy when I drop down to the ground and roll around on the grass with my legs in the air, it is one of the funny things I love to do!
- I’m good in the car and love to ride along in the back seat.
- I am really good at shaking hands to say thank you for my meal.
- My foster Mummy says that I am just the bestest girl and thinks that my new family would be very lucky to have me!

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview and a property inspection (as it is vital we rehome our animals to a safe, secure and suitable home).

The adoption fee of $450 assists to cover the costs of desexing, microchip, microchip ownership transfer, flea and worm treatment, vaccinations, vet check and a fitted Haqihana Harness.
