About Riker, Richie & Rocky
Riker, Richie, and Rocky are a delightful trio of young male guinea pigs. This charming gang is a mix of friendly, playful personalities, each with their own unique quirks. These guinea pigs have been handled extensively and are comfortable being around people, making them fantastic pre-bonded companions for both first-time and experienced guinea pig families.
You'll be greeted by a chorus of adorable wheeks from Riker, Richie, and Rocky every mealtime as they eagerly anticipate their food. Their synchronized squeaks are sure to become a beloved part of your daily routine, while their playful antics and curious nature will keep you entertained for hours. Whether it's exploring their enclosure, nibbling on fresh veggies, or just enjoying a cozy nap together, these guys know how to make the most of their day.
Like most guinea pigs, these boys would prefer affection with all four feet firmly planted on the floor. They may be suited to a home with older, respectful children. If you have cat or dog family members, please put thought into how you will keep them safely away from the piggies' enclosure. The occasional grooming will take care of any tangles in their fluffy coats.
Do you think you can take great care of these cheeky boys for the rest of their lives (5-7 years)? If so, please send us an enquiry and we'll get back to you as soon as possible so that you can get to enjoy watching Riker, Richie, and Rocky continue to grow.
Riker, Richie, and Rocky will be microchipped prior to adoption, and you will receive proof of this procedure. We kindly ask that after adoption we be permitted to remain an emergency contact on their microchips in case you are ever unreachable for any reason. They will also be treated with a parasite preventative before leaving us.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
All of our animals are seeking indoor only homes. We do not adopt out any animal to live alone (excluding entire male mice). If you do not have one or more compatible animals of the same species, you must adopt a bonded pair or group.
Once you apply to adopt, we'll talk with you about proper care of the animals you're looking to adopt, discuss any concerns you or we might have, and tell you more about our available animals. Using the application form on our website will ensure that you don't leave anything out.
Otherwise, please include as much detail as possible about your situation, other animals, experience with the species you're looking to adopt, and intended housing/diet when you apply. If there's a particular vet clinic you intend to use, please tell us the name (otherwise we can help you locate one that is knowledgable in small animals).
As part of the adoption process we require photos of a complete, suitable set up. We suggest contacting us prior to buying any cages or items for your new family members as many sold for small animals are not appropriate. We've also outlined our housing expectations on our social media, but don't be intimidated! We are here to help, not judge.
At the time of adoption, you'll be asked to pay an adoption fee and sign an adoption form. You'll receive an adoption packet including a detailed care guide for the species you've adopted, an adoption certificate, and any relevant veterinary records (proof of vaccination and sterilisation, microchip details, etc).
