About Ellie
Hi my names Ellie! I’m a one year old Australian Shepherd with the most beautiful blue merle markings and soft cuddly coat.
I’m a clever, loyal and playful girl who’s mastered all my basic obedience. I’m toilet trained, walk well on lead, can sit, drop, and love to give a high 5. I’ll even come back when called (sometimes - if I’m not busy)
As a typical Aussie, I love to be near my humans. After all the change I’ve had in my life of late, I can become un settled when left alone or separated from my humans, but I’m getting better every day.
I’m good with other dogs - I am quite good at reading other dogs signals and can either leave a dog be, or can be excitable and happy to play. I LOVE to play. I also love water - puddle, river, water bowl? I’ll take it. Foster ma calls me a swamp monster.
Given my age and breed, I’m looking for an experienced working dog home. I need continued obedience training and boundaries to ensure I grow in to a confident, well adjusted young dog. I’d be happy in a single dog home, as long as my parents are home more often than not, or with another dog for companionship.

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
