About Kita
Sweet Kita is looking for her happily ever after!
Kita is a mature girl with so much love to give, and she’ll take as much affection as she can get too 😉
Kita thrives in a home where her simple needs can be met. She loves routine. Her perfect day would start with a morning walk; some company through the day; lots of napping; and some simple play time or another easy walk in the afternoon. She loves chewing a bone in her crate after dinner, and will happily sleep in there at night also. Kita is very relaxed and happy when she knows her surrounds and what to expect from the day!
She is an absolute dream to walk on the lead, and is equally happy with a slow sniffy walk, or a longer walk. She’ll be by your side, not pulling on the lead. She enjoys meeting new people, and is dog social as well.
She would really benefit from the company of a cruisy canine companion (male), who can give her confidence when she’s feeling a little unsure of her surrounds. We can picture her with a couple who work from home, or retired who can include her in their daily activities. She loves to be loved.
Kita is great with children but a busy household is probably not ideal for this senior girl.

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
