Meet Marvin, a delightful 7-year-old Am Staff x Am Bulldog mix with a heart as big as his 35kg frame. Marvin is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed, ready to bring joy and companionship to his new family.
Marvin has a wonderful demeanor that complements his charming looks. He's known for his calm and collected nature, making him a great match for homes with older children (10 years and up) who can appreciate his gentle spirit and engage in friendly play. While he enjoys the company of calm dogs, he prefers a cat-free household.
Marvin is crate trained, housetrained and non destructive. He is able to be left at home alone outside his crate and won't do any damage. He's happy to go in the crate and sleeps in there.
He does enjoy a little bit of playtime but doesn't need much.
He is non reactive but does tend to pull on the lead. He likes going for a walk but does not get stressed or frustrated if he doesn't go for walks. He's generally happy to just lie around most of the time. He enjoys just hanging out with his people and prefers a calm environment to a busy noisy one.
Marvin's ideal day involves a balanced mix of outdoor adventures and indoor relaxation. He loves exploring the yard, and with a normal 5-foot fence, you'll have peace of mind knowing he's safe and secure. His favorite activities include leisurely strolls around Canungra and spending quality time with his humans.
If you're seeking a loyal, affectionate companion who thrives in a serene environment and appreciates the simple joys of life, Marvin is your perfect match. Come meet this charming boy and see how he can brighten your life with his gentle presence and loving nature.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
