About Miss Pepper and the Peppercorns
Can you believe our little Peppercorns are 5 weeks old today ?
They are all booked for their first vaccination next week and will then be ready to meet and greet potential families.
They will be ready to leave care at 8 weeks old.
We have had so much interest in these little ones that we have decided to manage the adoption application process a little differently.
If you are interested in meeting either Pepper or the Peppercorns with a view to adoption, we are asking that you send us a detailed message telling us all about yourself and the wonderful life you could offer.
With Pepper and 9 pups to look after we need to make this as easy as we can on foster mum Michelle, so we will initially just invite the applicants who we think are the very best matches – please take some time to sell yourself so you don’t miss out.
There is no need to choose an individual pup to meet – if invited for a meet you will be able to see them all and momma Pepper.
This is important as we want to match Pepper and her pups to homes based on personality, not just looks and momma Michelle will be able to guide us all there.
As a reminder Pepper is about 2 years old, she is a foxie mix and is about 9kg.
She is a sweet and gentle girl who loves company, car rides, and fresh air.
She is a smart cookie, a great little guard dog, and just the friendliest girl.
The pups are obviously half foxie but dad is unknown.
They are such a mixture – 5 girls and 4 boys.
Some are like mini Peppers and very foxie, others are almost like mini kelpies or cattle dogs, and Mercury – well he is like a wooly lamb.
They are all contented and sweet pups, and whilst we think they will be small or medium as adults we are asking people NOT to apply simply based on them being a small size, as this is rescue, and there are no 100% guarantees.
If your home cannot accommodate a medium dog, then please don’t apply.
Pepper will be desexed shortly and is fully vaccinated, heartworm checked, microchipped, and up to date with her flea and worm treatments.
The Peppercorns will be vaccinated to date ( future vaccinations will be the responsibility of the adopters), microchipped, and up to date with all flea and worm treatments. Their adoption fee includes compulsory desex at one of our partner vets when they are 6 months old.
Pepper and the peppercorns adoption fees are $750 each and they are located in Thornlands.
We don’t accommodate interstate adoptions nor do we adopt littermates to the same home.
Thank you all xx
