Personality:
Dusty prefers his space and is best suited for an older kid home. He enjoys pats and will smooch all over you. While he can coexist with other cats and dogs, he prefers minimal interaction with them. Dusty is looking for a confident cat owner who understands his needs and respects his boundaries.
What Dusty Needs:
Calm Home: A quiet environment where he can relax without too much commotion.
Outdoor Cat Enclosure: Dusty cannot roam outside freely, but he would love access to a secure outdoor enclosure for some fresh air and sun.
Regular Grooming: Dusty requires grooming by a professional or vet to keep his coat healthy, especially after having many mats removed, he now has some bald patches that are still growing back. He appreciates gentle handling during this process.
Dietary Needs:
Dusty has had a significant dental surgery and has some teeth missing, so he prefers soft food or small amounts of kibble. His favourite treats include chicken and lactose free cheese!

Adoption details
*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed
