About Bridie
Bridie is a truly remarkable little rabbit who has endured a great deal in her life, but has emerged from her trials with a resilient and joyful spirit. Despite recently having to undergo the difficult process of having one of her eyes removed, this plucky bunny has not let that setback diminish her affectionate and trusting nature. One might expect such a traumatic experience to make Bridie wary or skittish, but this gentle, sweet-tempered rabbit has proven to be the opposite - she is an absolute delight, eagerly seeking out gentle pats and soothing ear rubs from the humans in her life. Her determination to embrace life to the fullest is truly inspiring. Bridie's resilience is remarkable; she has faced significant challenges, yet her spirit remains unwavering. This little angel radiates an infectious joy, reminding all who encounter her that even in the face of adversity, it is possible to find happiness and contentment. Bridie is a testament to the power of perseverance and a living embodiment of the notion that life's best days are yet to come, no matter what obstacles one has overcome. Her story is a heartwarming reminder that with the right attitude, even the most difficult circumstances can be transformed into opportunities to thrive.

Adoption details
To meet our bunnies you will need to make a non obligated "Adoption" appointment where all your questions will be answered.
https://blueyalicebunnyrefuge.org.au/book-online/
We will not adopt any bunnies out unless they have met you. They can be sensitive little creatures and we need to make sure that both the bunny and hoomins will be happy with their new match.
Coming to the Refuge for an appointment is the best way to know what bunny is best for your family. We like as many of the family to come out on that day, so you can all sit with different buns to see who you connect with.
This is actually a vital part as it will determine if there are any family members that present with allergies! There is nothing more shattering to anyone than to take home an adored new pet only to have to return them because someone else in the house shows a severe allergy. Mild allergies can be managed but not severe ones!
Please note that there are only some bunnies suitable on their own. Most bunnies will need to be adopted with a companion.
To meet our bunnies you will need to make a "Bonding" appointment where all your questions will be answered.
https://blueyalicebunnyrefuge.org.au/book-online/
Of course if you wish to find a companion for your bunny, bring your bun too. Your buns vaccination will need to be up to date & within the last 10 months.
Please note that rabbit bonding only happens at the rescue and we do not allow adopters to bond offsite.
