Mitsy

Meet Mitsy, who is looking for a second chance in life. She came to our rescue after her family of 8 years decided to have her rehomed, through no fault of her own. Mitsy is a healthy and beautiful girl and deserves the next 8+ years of her life to be her best.

Mitsy loves the company of people and gets along wonderfully with all kinds of species. In her first home, she lived with kids, dogs, and another cat. Currently, she’s sharing her foster home with birds, two other cats, rats, reptiles, a lamb, and multiple species of orphaned wildlife.

Mitsy enjoys soaking up the sun on the windowsill while you are out, but she will happily greet you when you return, showing her love. Mitsy may take time to come out of her shell, and has done best in her foster home when given space to come forward on her own. Once she is comfortable, she becomes a big cuddler, loves curling up in bed with her foster mum, and is perfectly content to stay there for some pats (she might even drool a little when she's especially cozy!).

Mitsy's approach to life when something unexpected happens is to step back and observe from a distance. Because of this, she would do well with a cat who has good social skills, or a gentle and calm dog, or she would be perfectly happy soaking up all the love as a solo pet. Mitsy would also do well in a family with young children, as long as they are gentle and allow her space when needed.

After a confusing few months of finding herself in foster care following 8 years with her previous family, Mitsy will truly benefit from a calm, stable home where she can settle in and live out the rest of her life. She will thank you in turn with all the cuddles you could wish for.
