About Frankie
Hi my name is Frankie, but I prefer to be called Franklin.
Im an energetic joker with a gentle heart that wants to see you happy and loves it when people smile and laugh and to be told I am a really good boy!
I'm around 12 months old and a Kelpie, but my foster mum thinks I may have Border Collie in me too, as im super smart, and boy do I love learning!
I thrive on time schedules, snacks and clear instructions.
I prefer bigger animals due to my kelpie instincts, but I have become use to inside cats, They creeped me out at first but now we are mates, but I think it might be easier without them.
We have chickens and birds at my foster home and I never harrass them and boy I do love whole eggies!!!
Ideally, I'd like 1 immediate dog sibling that's active but calm to help me stay balanced and be a good influence.
I'm also keen for Dog visitors that are playful and intense as long as they are my size or bigger. I have pretty good social skills!!!
I love cuddles and being petted by both men and women!
Small humans overwhelm and over stimulate me, so mature teenagers and adults who would love teaching me would work well. I could maybe even be your travel OZ buddy, as I like travelling, or If you wanted to get into obedience or rallyo & agility I'm getting good at that. I'm super fast so Lure coursing could be right up my alley. Short energy bursts are my thing, but tbh, so is cuddling!
My social interests include: Playing rope, bigger herding balls, and playing keepings off other dogs which is actually "I've got your toy please chase me" 😍🐾
If you think I’m your man then I’d love to hear from you & maybe we could meet up to see if we’re a match 💙

If an animal is adopted inter-state we can help organise transport . The cost of transport is paid by the adopting family.
All our animals are desexed, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. Our adoption fee covers our basic costs.
