Froggi

Froggi, a former racing greyhound, is fortunate to have escaped the track, which holds painful memories for her. Due to severe injuries sustained during her racing career, including torn muscles in her chest, back, and hips, as well as residual scar tissue, Froggi requires a life of leisure and comfort.

She is suitable for a family that will respect her physical limitations. After a gentle introduction, Froggi interacts well with other dogs and enjoys short walks on a leash. Although her injuries are permanent, Froggi's affectionate nature remains intact, and she delights in showing affection.

As a retired racing greyhound, her compatibility with cats and small pets cannot be guaranteed. Nevertheless, Froggi is eager to embark on a tranquil life, where she can indulge in her preference for lounging and sleeping. While she may not be suited for lengthy walks or energetic activities, Froggi promises lifelong devotion to her future family.

SEQ K9 Rescue finds homes for retired Greyhounds, giving them a second chance. To ensure their well-being, we require: no dog parks, muzzled walks, and slow introductions to other dogs while muzzled, treating rehoming as a serious responsibility to help them thrive.
