About Storm

Kids (5yrs+)
Not suitable to live with dogs
Open to meet cats
Inside only
Meet Storm,
Storm is an agreeable, friendly & happy girl. She is fine for people who are new to cat ownership. Curious by nature, she is outgoing and social. Storm loves to engage with you & shower you with affection.
Storm is best suited to a calm & quiet home as she dislikes loud noises & prefers a quieter environment in which to live.
Storm is open to meet kids from 5 years & up – reason for this is due to her want & need of a quieter home. Storm is a gentle girl & appreciates people who also share the same gentle trait.
Storm loves human interaction and especially loves being patted. She doesn't have a favourite spot of place for pats - she will gladly accept them all over!
Storm doesn’t mind being picked up & carried for short periods of time. Reason for this is because she is a bit of a baker & likes to make biscuits, so, if she is being held where on earth will she be able to make her world-famous biscuits?!
Unfortunately, Storm would not be suitable to live with dogs. They scare her.
Storm previously lived with cats, so we think that she would be fine to be introduced to new cats in the home as long as the introduction is gradual & controlled to minimise stress to Storm & the existing cats. She seems to prefer people, but doesn't mind being around other cats.
Storm is best to be indoors only for the simple fact that she hated being in the cat park – she disliked being in the cat park, and she also dislikes the noise of the outside world too. She loves being inside, where she feels safe.
Storm has low energy but she does like to play with toys. Her favourite are feather wand toys.
Storm is not fussy with food; she loves any food offered to her.
Storm is also tidy, as she always uses her litter tray but she likes to have a few to choose from.
Staff Comments: Storm is as affectionate as they come, she wants all of the love & attentions. She slinks her way around your legs, makes the best biccies. Beware of her claws though as she usually fully extends them all the way to the max level for the ultimate kneading experience (we have trimmed her claws for your convenience).
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
The adoption fee for dogs covers C3 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
